This session will examine how archivists, curators, and historians are implementing the ideals of mutual respect and reciprocity at the heart of the Protocols for Native American Archival Materials. The topics covered include: the return of cultural information from Federal repositories to Native communities; long-term collaborations between public Universities and Native communities; collecting, colonialism, and the ethical curation of Native American cultural heritage.
